the best fest

love our girl and her love of reading - so proud of you, els!!  after a round of parent-teacher conferences, both kids are doing a fabulous job at school!  woohoo!!

after almost 8 years of staying at home, i had a moment of succumbing to the guilt of making something for the school bake sale.  next year, we're back to store-bought treats!

hailey and ella have been asking for ages if they could go to color me mine together, so friday, after a half day of school, we met up for some painting!

friday night was tanque verde elementary's annual fall festival.  so so so much fun.  so so so exhausting...

saturday, after the kids activities (max in karate and ella in parkour), we met up with our fun crew at the gaslight theatre for their spoof on "the phantom of the opera."

so much fun and an amazing show!!

sunday was mostly relaxing with a birthday party to cap our weekend off.
