christmas and a new year AND 35/40: rock n roll arizona half

pictures are here.  there have been so many things and life has been super hectic.  but here ya go.  christmas (which feels like eons ago!) and then some.

els and penelope (and claire) were sheep in the nativity play on christmas eve.

merry christmas, kiddos!!  we woke up and saw that santa had visited!

he was good to the kids and they got the things they had asked for from him.  thanks santa!

the kids wanted to put georgie's stocking up again.  love him and miss him everyday.  merry first christmas to sweet piper!

i had this blanket made for sweet ella, who still misses george as much as i do.  there are pictures of her and george, bailey and piper.

max got the most ridiculous lego set that he's been begging for...see below for the a video!

oh this sweet hug that auntie elaine captured

remember when the kids were toddlers and more entertained by the boxes than the gifts they contained.  we are apparently still there...

auntie jenny sent us fun photo props and mom brought fun headbands!!

we had a fabulously relaxing christmas with delicious food and amazing family.  love you all!

piper tries to go swimming multiple times a week.  and then she digs a hole.  she gets lots of baths...

our new years eve tradition of fondue!!

max finished his roller coaster on new years eve!!!!

happy 2020 my loves!!!  looking forward to amazing adventures this year!!

ella spent the first two weekends of january working on her science project - painting with magnets.

she did a phenomenal job - we are soooo proud of you miss ella!!!  AND she made the honor roll again!

we ran our 5th rock n roll arizona half!!  our time was 2:44:16 and we placed 5142/8446.
the end is indeed near.  5 more to go!!!!  the beer wasn't too bad either.  not as good as the 2 ginormous sangrias the night before.  but i digress...

ok we're caught up.  living the dream, piper, living the dream.

Another activity-packed Christmas season under your belts. Thank you for including Uncle Kenny and us in the Christmas Day festivities! It's always fun to be with you all. We hope 2020 is full of good things - success in school and work, new adventures, awesome celebrations, and beautiful moments with those you love! - Love, Auntie Elaine
